MJUK SOFA

Some sofas are designed simply to look beautiful. MJUK was designed to make people want to stay. Its
name comes from the Swedish word mjuk, meaning soft, and softness became the guiding principle
behind the entire design. Generously proportioned cushions, rounded armrests and deep seats create a
form that embraces rather than defines the boundaries of the furniture.

The collection draws inspiration from the Scandinavian approach to comfort, where functionality never
comes at the expense of everyday pleasure. Instead of rigid geometric volumes, the result is a sofa with
calm proportions and a soft silhouette that naturally encourages relaxation, conversation and daily living.
Rather than dominating the interior through its form, MJUK becomes the heart of the living space through
the experience it offers.

The greatest surprise lies beneath its inviting appearance. Despite its soft, cushion-like character, MJUK
conceals a full-size sleeper mechanism along with two independent storage compartments, discreetly
integrated into the structure. This allows manufacturers to offer a product that combines exceptional
comfort with the practical features today’s customers expect, without compromising the purity of its
design.

The design has been intentionally stripped of unnecessary details. Its identity is defined by carefully
balanced proportions, generous cushion volumes and subtly rounded armrests. Upholstery plays an
equally important role in shaping its character – from soft bouclé and chenille to natural wool and linen
blends or contemporary velvets. Each fabric transforms the sofa’s personality while preserving its
distinctive silhouette.

MJUK was conceived as a collection with significant growth potential. The same design language can be
expanded into additional widths, modular configurations, corner sofas and ottomans, creating a cohesive
product family for a wide range of market segments. It is a design that combines emotional comfort with
practical functionality, giving manufacturers a flexible platform for building a recognizable and enduring
furniture collection.
